I have a wireless network card and have a 2.4 ghz cordless phone. When I get on the phone most of the time I lose my wireless internet connection. Will getting a 5.8 ghz phone fix this?

yes for the fact that your wlan is at 2.4 ghz aswell the phone interferes with it

My 2.4 ghz cordless phones and network don't seem to have any problems with each other but I've read that it can be a problem.
