Is there a preferred route for a wireless network card for a laptop (i.e. PCMCIA, PCI, USB ...) if "size does not matter" and if size matters (for travel)??

2 minutes after posting I might have learnt something new already? Laptops don't have PCI slots do they? That shows my ignorance!

Use PCMCIA for notebooks, because atleast you can get 802.11g for those. Whereas USB is limited to 11mb speeds so are only available in 802.11b adapters.
