hey all havin big problem with my wireless network. it goes like this:
I have a simple wireless network ie. modem in one room with router and then two pc's both connected to it in the other room. Now at first both worked fine perfect connection however now only one computer is giving me net access.
I checked the other computer and it is giving me an ip address and subnet mask however there is no DNS Server or WINS Server does anyone know how to get these back? any help would be great

Check in which way IP address is assigned to you. I mean is it through DHCP or static IP?
If DHCP then select 'obtain DNS ip address authomatically' from properties of LAN connection in Network Connections.
It seems that you are having one desktop and one laptop. Check the above for both computer and laptop.

hey I got the same issue with my Netgear router and contacted Qresolve.com and they resolved the issue in just 25 minutes......
Here are the steps you can try on your wireless network.....
1. Please disable any firewall in the laptop or wireless computer.
2. Remove any codeless phone or microwave near to the wireless computer.
3. If it's not possible login to the router settings page and try changing the channel on the router.
4. try disabling the security on the router.I am sure this will help you out too.......
Must contact Qresolve...........Jack Dawson
