Hi guys,
I am looking to buy a wireless n router and I was looking to get the dir-855 wireless router however I read an article saying atheros have developed a chip which is now capable of 600mbs wireless n by using the two bands simultaneously....I emailed dlink and they said the dir-855 isnt capable of this so is there any router out there that is?

I just had a quick look because I hadn't checked to see if 802.11n had even been ratified yet. From what I see, 802.11n has NOT been ratified as of yet and won't be until 2010

This means, there's no guarantee any N device you buy now (pre ratification) will work with any other N device after N is ratified.

If it were me, I'd wait before spending money on any N device.

As to the bandwidth capability utilizing MIMO, again, I wouldn't hold out much hope at this point in time, of seeing that in any consumer grade device.
