No-one i know , either online or here knows what is causing my problem or how to fix it .... i have 3 pc's and a laptop connected to a wireless network, the 3 pcs work fine with no problems , but the laptop keeps freezing my yahoo messenger until someone knocks online or goes offline then it unfreezes and sends me all the messages ppl have been trying to send, i thought it was just messenger but i noticed it also freezes yahoo games lobbies too and on searches it is soooo slow compared to even the oldest pc which isnt as high a spec as the laptop, it has been this way from new (now 2 months old) and it is so frustrating coz ppl think i am ignoring them till it unfreezes... plzzzzzzzzz help someone ... i have tried updating the driver for the wireless card but i have the up to date driver and i dont know wot else to try

Don't know whether this helps. I'm a total newbie, but i found this on Wanadoo member support whilst researching another problem last night:
Are any Wanadoo Services affected when installing Service Pack 2?
Messenger - You will be prompted to 'Unblock' the connection when running for the first time. Click Unblock to use Messenger.
Chat - You may need to download an 'Add-on' when using the service. See Internet Explorer Add-ons manager below for details of how to do this.
If you select the Help or Members List icon you will need to allow 'Pop-Ups' from this site. For details of how to do this, see Internet Explorer Pop-up blocker.Internet Explorer Add-ons manager:
Web browser add-ons give different functionality to Internet Explorer, and can make browsing a little more fun or more effective. Extra toolbars, animated mouse pointers and stock tickers are all examples of browser add-ons.
Some add-ons are installed with Microsoft Windows, however others are downloaded separately, eg the Wanadoo Search Toolbar that lets you find information, products and services instantly.
You can view and manage Internet Explorer 'Add-ons' from Internet Explorer, by clicking on Tools, and selecting Manage Add-ons.
If you find an add-on causes you problems, eg a 'Tool bar' that you have downloaded, you can select to disable the tool bar.
When using our Chat service, you may receive an Active X Warning message, prompting you to download an 'Add-on'. If this occurs, select Yes to accept the download, allowing our Chat service to function correctly.
