Hey guys,
Im having a terrible time getting my 2 computers on a wireless lan. I dont have internet at my apartment and all I want is the two computers to talk to each other, basically being on lan. So for instance I can transfer files between both computers and also play a game on the lan with a buddy when hes over. Thats pretty much it, but I cant seem to figure out at all how to get these to work. I have a D-Link 522 wireless router which I cant install the drivers for the router because it wants to check my internet connection and wont let me go pass till a internet connection is established. But, when going into internet explorer I can do 192.168.0.1 and get my control panel to my router. It came with a usb wireless adapter which is on the second computer. Can someone run me through the steps on to getting both computers to talk to each other please.
