Solved wireless lan computers using wired router

Specs: Windows 8 pro
can you use a wireless computer with a wired router if so what is required in order to be able to solve this any input would be helpfull

If the router doesn't support WiFi, there are no wireless signals being transmitted to and from the wireless adapter on the computer. So, you'll need to make use of the RJ-45 port (the Ethernet port) on the computer for a wired connection or buy a wireless router. Cisco/Linksys are superior to Belkin products based on personal experience.
