2 computers i have been working on both have the same wireless network card (Belkin, i forget the model). one of them has an ordinary NIC in, which is used for the modem (NTL cable). this ones only receives a weak signal, whereas the other one receives a good signal. the internet works on both pcs (so the wireless connection is ok), but the LAN cannot be seen. sometimes one pc can see the other's name, but not actually get access to it. the main reason for wanting a LAN is to share a printer that is on the main pc. ive tried everything i can think of, nothing seems to be working.

The problem is prolly XP Pro's firewall, or the file and printer sharing protocol is not installed on both machines. Are both Machines XP Pro? Or are the different O.s.'s?
