wireless internet gets disabled by ethernet

May 5, 2010 at 14:44:33
Specs: Windows XP, 4gb
I have a wireless network and a very large printer that is connected via a network card. My internet gets disabled when the network card is enabled. This has worked fine for a year but I unplugged the printer and rebooted and now it is searching for the internet on the network card and not the wireless. Once I disable the network card it finds the internet on the wireless connection. Also, when both are enabled I am able to get to my local network throught the wireless (my other computers and printers) just not to the internet. Can you help me?

take the gateway entry off the wired network card. That entry in tcp/ip properties should be blank
