Wireless Internet Connection

Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook

Specs: Windows Vista
So I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop with
windows Vista which I've had for about 3 or 4
years now. My issue is whenever I go to
connect to any wireless network it tells me it
can't find any. So now I have to connect by
Ethernet cable which is pretty annoying
especially for a college student. I've had this
problem for a while... however I used to be able
to just restart my computer and it would work
again. It progressively got worse and whenever
I moved my computer or unplugged it from the
wall (ran on battery power) the wireless
internet would stop working and I'd have to
restart my computer again. I was restarting my
computer more and more. Now the wireless
doesn't work at all and I always have the
Ethernet cable plugged in. My dad said it
might be my wireless card or something but
I'm not sure and wanted a second opinion. Any
suggestion/help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there,

May be your wireless card drivers are corrupted and giving you trouble or there can be a virus on your system which prevents connectivity. Try to re-install drivers if its fix the problem then thats good else try to reload the operating system .changing wifi is the last option and i hope your wifi is ok.

Best of luck
