Hi,
I am having a lot of problems with the proxim 802.11 b,g gold card along with the Proxim AP-700. I have the latest software for both pieces of hardware(3.1). I get an IP from the DHCP server at the windows XP login screen and I am able see my IP in the statistics menu on the access point at this time. However, I cannot ping this IP from another station on the network when i am at the login screen. When I log into windows, scripts do not run because I was unable to authenticate to the domain server. When I log into the desktop I am then able to ping the workstation from another computer. If I log into windows, log out(without shutting down or restarting), and then back in the scripts run.
