For weeks ny wireless connection has been working perfectly, now all of a sudden it has trouble connecting, or staying connected. The length of time which I stay online is variable. Sometimes the icon at the bottom of the page saya it is connected and the connection is excellent, when it isn't. Sometimes it says it isn't connected when it is. Sometimes it tries to acquire a network address and fails. Sometimes it asks me for a network key because it can't remember it. It is extremely variable. I have not changed any settings. My drivers are compatable and working fine.

It almost sounds as if you're losing power for a split second somewhere. The reason I say that is, it's asking for the netowrk key as if it were rebooted. Is everything on a power strip? What else is on that circuit?

They aren't in the computer. I thought that the AC power might be interrupted as if there were a brownout.

unplug your router; wait for 1 minute, and then plug it back.. other reason could be: -your ISP may be working on the connection line -check the pcmcia/ usb cable JACK; THAT MIGHT BE LOOSE. -your router may need the latest firmware..
