Specs: Windows Vista
I have an old router, Netgear Rangemax, I attempted security settings, now I can't connect to the internet unless I'm wired to the router. I see the router's sending the signal ... Also, I haven't a clue as to the Network Security Key code I get asked for.

This would most likely mean that a Wireless Password was set up when you changed the settings. You need to get into the Firmware, and change the password to one that you can remember. Of course you have to know the Wi-Fi Password to do this unless if the firmware is very old on the router.

I handled the situation by resetting the router, entering all data from the beginning, and I don't even know what else I did but it worked.
