hi, i want to know about wireless conectivity in detail. The scenerio is like this -we have two offices situated at distacnce of say 300 meters. NOw i want to use common database for an application. So i need to connect these two offices, as dialup connection will be too slow for this. I want to know how can i connect using wirewless equipments.What equipments will i need like wireless card, antena....? Can i use one machine (which will have wireless card for connecting to other office)as gateway for the LAN . What will be the approximate cost for this connectivity in $, if any one can tell me the amount in Rs it would be great as i m from india.

You will probably want something you can connect an antenna to like a linksys wireless bridge.
With the right configuration of antenna, amplifiers, and wireless points it is possible to obtain distances up to 30 miles with up to 1mbps mabey more connection speed vs 56kbps tops phone line.

Look in Intellinet's option for wireless devices and antennas. They have better options than Linksys, DLink or Netgear.
