hi guys,
i got a friend's computer who has a wirelees card that connects to their sympatico 6800 wireless dls modem/router, the router is downstairs with the hard-wired comp and the other is upstairs, now the router is configured properly with dns, dhcp etc
The problem i am having is that when they turn off the wireless computer for the night, the next day it wont connect to their ssid, but instead it is connecting to their neighbours unencrypted network

Sympatico agent told me that their is a way to block their computer from accessing his unencrypted. I want to know how because his network has no encryption which is screwing up thir network, i know this isnt exactly clear but im trying to explain it

Don't use DHCP and it won't connect to the neighbor's network.
Set static IP addresses.
