Please more specific.
Do you see the router from the client and how strong the signal?
DHCP or static IP?
Using IP in the same subnet?
....

There are so many thing may happen. If you can trace from the simpliest.
1. Make sure that you can see the router from the client.
2. Make sure that the WPE is matching.
3. Make sure that the signal is above 50%.
4. Make sure that you are using the correct IP in the subnet.
5. Make sure that you have the MAC address of your NIC on the access list of the router (only if you turn it on).
6. Make sure that you can ping your self.
7. Make sure that you can ping the router.
8. Carefully look at the firewall in your client and making sure that you know how it work. If you are not sure, please turn it off at the moment.

Well, there maybe lots more.
