Who set the Admin User ID & Pwd in the router?
I presume you are trying to log into the router admin interface to configure the wireless setup. If you do not remember the router admin ID & pwd then you will need to reset the router to factory default by pressing the reset button. If you do not have the router user manual you can download it from Linksys

Your kidding, damn.....I did my wife's computer and dont remember all this trouble. yes I set all of this up.
I read you can put an address in the url and use admin as the password and it will get me to my router to see the WEP.
But that is not working. Not sure why but all the online instructions tell you to do that if you have a computer still connected to teh router which of course this one is.
Not sure what i will do now.
My luck I do what you tell me to do restore setting and nothing will work.

Router configuration is best done using a wired connection. Did you download the user manual? Accessing the admin interface is explained in there. The default admin login may have a blank password or a factory preset.
