Hello. My wireless connection drops to 1mbps from 11mbps and stops working. This is a brand new PC using the old Linksys WMP11 Wireless B PCI adapter from my old computer. The old computer had the same windows version and drivers as this one, yet the card doesn't seem to be working right in the new pc. Also all of the router settings were not changed. I'm at a loss, thanks.

How long is your signal path? Mine drops to 1mbps but stays connected. About 30 feet through 2 walls to the router. 89% signal strength and 97% link quality. Another router 10 feet away down a floor has 12% signal and no connection.

Same location but not the same configuration. Try moving the computer.

Moving the computer did nothing. I also removed my TV tuner card, and moved the card into it's slot. Also no effect. In all other PC's the card is working flawlessly.

Could it be a bios problem? (Although I don't think it would be.) or something? I have enough power for it, running with a bran new XFinity 500w power supply.
