Hi
My laptop shows that it has excellent connection from Linksys router, but I can not open any web page. I can use dialup to connect, but wireless doesn't open any page. How do I tell the laptop or firefox or Internet explorer to use wireless?

have you right clicked the wireless connection, and run a repair?? have you setup the ssid in the router and laptop?? ssid needs a unique name entered for each computer, and router.

You are using wirless to try and connect via dial up? Something wrong there. I dont know of any wireless routers that will handle a dialup connection.
What is the dial-up MODEM plugged into?

You go into the configuration options and set IE/Firefox to use Lan instead of dialup.
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search
