Wireless connected but can't surf

I had this problem recently and tracked it down to the encryption key on the wireless machine not matching the wireless router. After I corrected this, I had to reboot before and then I was surfin.

I just helped someone else out with a similar problem and it turned out the wireless router was misconfigured. Not sure how she solved it - she said the "parameters were wrong".
