I have two seperate LAN networks that i want to connect wirelessly!!
Is it possible to connect two LAN's using two access points!!
Or is there any other way of doing it WITH OUT buying a wireless bridge??
Thanks in advance!!
Rich

It is much better to go with a bridge. There are some other ways to go with but I need more info about your networks, like the distance, what you are gonna do with the network (just internet or file sharing or both).
Alireza

Hey Alirez Thanks for the post!!
The distance is not far!! About 20m's with a direct line of site!!!
I have two seperate LAN networks!! One LAN in my house and One LAN in my garage which is across a small public footpath so i cant run a cable!
LAN 1 house
1 server (win2000server)
2 workstations (win2000pro)
Conected to switch/router!LAN 2 garage
2 workstations (win2000pro)
connected to switch.I would like to use it to :
Login to the domain.
Transfer Files
Share Printers
Share Cable ModemMy idea was to plug a wireless AP into the switch on each network!! Then set the gateway of each AP to be the other AP!!
Like this:
AP 1
IP : 192.168.1.2
Gateway : 192.168.1.3AP 2
IP : 192.168.1.3
Gateway : 192.168.1.2I dont know if this will work??
But then again I dont see why not?
If someone could clear it up for me?
and if it dont work, could some one explain to me why??Alot of questions but i like to learn!!
Im thinking of going 54g!!
I really dont want to spend large on a set of bridges!! Any ideas would be great!!!Thanks very much!!!
Rich!!
