Wireless Card freezes system

I have a system that runs fine, I put a new linksys wireless card in and it dose not even get to the POST. I pull he card out and the system runs fine!

I have tried the LinkSys card in my XP system and it works fine.

Sounds like an IRQ Sharing Problem.

Try placing card in a different slot.

You can also free up IRQ's by disabling the Parallel, serial, and game ports in the BIOS if you do not use them.

Did you run the installation software for the card before sticking the card into the pc ?
