I have a general question about wireless cameras. Can they be networked into an established wireless network so as to view the feed from them on your PC?

Yes, there are now several wireless IP cameras on the market. You will need a wireless network card on the machine you are viewing them from or a wireless router on the network to obtain the feed to your computer. Thats about it. The cameras will need to be assigned fixed IP address and thats about the extent of them the software you get with the cameras will allow you to view the feed or alternately you will view the picture through a browser.
