I have a laptop that has a BroadCom 802.11g network adapter built in, well all of the sudden it doesn't detect any wireless access points not even mine in the wireless list. but other computers detect the access point. In Network Connections window, i see 2 icons 1394 Connection, it says it connected at 400Mbps 0 Packets received, and the other icon Wireless Network Connection wich is my adapter and says Not Connected, what is wrong? now matter what i do nothing works.
If all else fails, download Netstumbler & verify IT can detect the AP -- as it does not use WinXP WLAN software, if Netstumbler can't see it, then your drivers might be toast or card could be dead.
Good luck.

Is there a "bridge" adapter listed in there somewhere? If so, delete it.
