You are not exactly correct.
Affordable? Maybe. Since you can't easily use a router/firewall you run more risk of malware.
Can you open ports? Yes and no. Contact the provider to see. Most ISP's offer well known ports for remote but some may block.

Games will not run as fast or at all maybe.

Wireless is for situations where wires don't work.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

You can hook up your own router to use for your own network. The wireless internet comes into your house or business through an antenna to a transceiver. From that point on it is just like any other broadband connection. You can use vnc just as you would on a DSL or Cable connection.

i had already wireless broadband installed yesterday.i tried the remote access using vnc but i cant connect on it.
the antenna is directly connected to my LAN card and set as DHCP. i did ipconfig in DOS, i got an IP 192.168.xx.xx so this mean that is my private/client IP, right?and my external IP is 203.177.xx.xxx using www.whatismyip.com.if i will use a router, what is now my IP address going to my PC since the router has it default IP?
