Hi i have just bought a Belkin ADSL modem with wireless G router and wireless G usb network adapter. Im very new to this idea and think i have set everything up correct and i seem to be able to surf the web but i have some probably dumb questions but i need them answered.I using one laptop so share internet around the house.
1. My internet connection seems slower compared to my old adsl modem even if i am close to the router the speed is still not as fast as.
2 I downloaded a piece of software to compare the speeds and with my old adsl modem the lowest the speed went to was 44mb per second but with the wireless router it was as low as 7.80 mb per second
