My future setup (pic 1 below) will have my NAS and WDTV behind a WHR-HP-G54 configured as wireless bridge (Stock Firmware) that connects to my wireless router (Linksys WRT54G w/stock firmware) on the floor above.

My question is when my WDTV goes to access the files on my NAS, what route does it take? Does the WHR-HP-G54 handle it (Pic 2) or does it go back to the Linksys before coming back to the WDTV (Pic 3)?

I'm trying to avoid sending large files over the wireless part of the network when the WDTV is accessing the NAS.

There should be no reason for the traffic to go across the wireless. It should stay between the two switch ports.
