i have blueyonder netgear me102 wireless access point connected to tv set top box with ethernet,wirelessly linked to a netgear ma101 usb adaptor on my pc in another room. All ok so far. then
bought a laptop with wireless capability and wanted to use internet at the same time on pc and laptop so ....
bought router netgear wrg614 and ethernet pci card for pc.
How do i get my laptop to get this connection without taking out the usb adaptor from my family pc. Its all a bit confusing for my head

Presume in your case your "tv set top box" contains your cable modem. Connect the WAN port of the router to the modem. Connect one PC wired to a LAN port of the router (for admin purposes) Connect the WAP to another LAN port of the router.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
