I need to know how I can get a copy of internet explorer on a disk for windows 98 user? Need 6 or 7 to connect to internet.

Any browser will connect to internet. IE 4 or 5 came with Win98.

I had to install a new windows 98 os and when I did that it loaded inteternet exlplorer 5.5 and that will not work with my wireless card. So I tried to find a cd of internet explorer 6 or more to load on laptop to beable to use card to get inline. My laptop is old and has not ethernet connection.

It's not an IE problem. You need the driver for the wireless card. there are pcmcia ethernet cards for the laptop.

I installed the drive and it tells me I need a internet explorer 5.5 or higher and I made misstake I only have 5.0. Any Ideas? Thanks for your help

Here are instructions for creating an offline installer for IE6. Once you've created the installer, you can put it on a CD and install it anywhere. Good times.
