Hello,
My wireless adapter on Vista (Compaq laptop) is showing that it is enabled in the device manager, but is showing "disabled" on the status balloon that pops up. I had to disassemble the laptop today to ensure no liquid damage and it works fine otherwise, but I cannot get the wireless working again. Any suggestions? All wires are properly connected.

go to manage network connections. Right mouse click on the wireless adapter and select enable.

see if that doesn't make a difference

Unfortunately, I have tried disabling and re-enabling the adapter, but to no avail. It's now showing "limited connectivity", so I'm hoping it may clear up on its own by the morning, but any help will still be appreciated.
