Well I'm about to have to go live with my grandma and my aunt next door has a wireless router that she does not care if I leech off of.

I have my own wireless router and am wondering what I would have to do to set it up as a wireless access point e.g. it gets her wireless signal and retransmits it through it's Ethernet ports and wirelessly.

Your router needs to support Wireless Distribution System or WDS, if your router supports it then the documentation will tell you how to set it up.
