I need to setup a wireless access point and this is what it needs to do

Network cable from satellite modem to the access point. 1 PC and 2 laptops need to gain access to the internet via this access point with a rather generous coverage area.

I am considering the NetGear WPN802 RangeMax Wireless Access Point. Will this actually do the job, obviously the PC needs a wireless card in it so looking at WG311 Wireless PCI Card.

Any advice

If you get 'Pre N' or 'Draft N' WiFi gear make sure everything from the same manufacturer for maximum compatibility so that all the computers can communicate at N speed.
