We have a training room with six PC's. They are all connected to network ports via rj-45 cable.

We would like to setup access point so users don't need to put cables into their laptops and get access immediately.

I wander how can i set this up, do i have to connect AP to one PC like running cable from one pc to AP and from AP to the network point. Anyone has any ideas.

And How to configure and settings.

Many access points come with ports on them so you can hardwire a pc or printer to them if you desire.

But once you have the access point set up, following the manufacture's directions, adding wireless cards to the pcs or laptops will give you wireless access for all.

Read all the instructions that comes with your access point and you should be on your way.

They are realtively easy to set up. Be sure that once you're set up and running that you become real familiar with the security settings your access point uses.

You may have no wires but you will have to deal with all the security dealings that are needed in a wireless setup , if you leave the Access Point wide open anyone in the general area with a wireless nic will be able to use your network for basically anything they want . Wireless is a great idea but from a network security standpoint it is a pain . If you work for a company that has any size at all I doubt they want you having their network wide open . I would talk this over with your bosses before implementing anything , if you stick an AP out there with no security then you are really exposing your network .
