Hello,

Perhaps you guys know... I connect to a wireless connection in my building with my 2 laptops. I now want to connect an IP phone to this network - problem is it doesn't have wi-fi capability so I need some sort of device which can connect to the wireless network and somehow transfer the network to the phone through a regular network cable... I have heard about a few devices (Linksys WAP54G Wireless-G Access Point / Linksys WET54G Wireless-G Ethernet Bridge) but I'm not sure what the differences between these are and which one would do the job...

Would appreciate any comments / suggestions!

Thanks,

Jon

I would take a look at the buffalo ethernet wireless client. The buffalo gear is good value, reliable and easy to use.

Be aware that VoIP is very sensitive to network issues and while your wifi access may be great for internet and email, voip quality may be inconsistent.
