I have a WiBrain UMPC, finally acquired the Cradle for it, and just hooked it up via Ethernet to get the best speeds possible for transferring large amounts on Data onto it.
At the same time, I have the WiFi enabled on the device, it connects fine in both regards, and doesn't appear to be kicking up a fuss (Win XP Home loaded for the record).
Question is, is there any advantages? Can I achieve 154Mbps in this setup, or does Windows Auto-Select the fastest Connection available and ignore the others?
Actually, I guess there could be a latency issue by sending a big file down both Connections at the same time, it would arrive in completely the wrong order at the Destination IP?
Thanks for any information you can spare!

Not quite. Windows selects the first connection it finds and ignores the others.
Generally speaking if you have both a wired and wireless connection it will be the wired connection that will be enabled first on boot-up and that is the one it will use.
If you then want to use the wireless connection you will first have to disable the wired connection.
Sending data along two different connections will never work unless both ends are geared up to use two data sources.
Stuart

Ah ha, thank you Stuart ^_^ Guess whenever I turn it on, I'll have to place it in it's cradle before hand, for ultimate simplicity. Or I suppose just hit the Wifi Switch on it before power-on, heh.
Thank you again!
