I have a wireless cable router with a 4 port switch built in (draytek 2200we) that is downstairs, at the moment it is hardwired to my switch upstairs which feeds 3 computers. What i want to do is get rid of the network cable between the router switch and the switch upstairs and use wireless from the switch upstairs to the router downstairs to access the internet. Confused?
at present i have internet<-wired->modem<-wired->Router<-wired->Switch<-wired->computers
What i want is internet<-wired->modem<-wired->Router<-WIRELESS->?????<-Wired->Switch<-wired->computers
What do i need to buy where the ????? are, in order to achieve my goal??, I've seen ethernet/wireless game adaptors that allow a console to connect wirelessly, but would that work through a switch serving 3 computers???

Sounds like you are making a very simple setup overly complicated. If a wireless router "upstairs" can communicate with something "downstairs", then wireless PCs can communicate with a wireless router downstairs. You can share the wireless router with several PCs. Eliminate the wired switch upstairs by making all upstairs PCs wireless. Actually you could in theory make all PCs wireless, but most advisors would recommend one be wired for easier troubleshooting.
