For some reason I have instantaneously lost network capability for my router. I removed all packet filter rules and have reinstalled winroute to just the basic setup. I have only changed the interface maintenance section. I turn NAT on the internet connection, and my internal computers can access the internet, however external clients cannot access my servers, etc... They can ping my machine, but no folders, etc. If I turn NAT on the internet connection plus exclude this computer from NAT, my internal clients can't access the internet but external clients have access to my servers now. The first scenario is how I've had it for months, then all of a sudden it didn't work. Thinking there was a win2k problem(server) I reinstalled everything, so at the moment only the os and winroute are running. Is this a specific issue or does anyone have a solution??

Hi,
Try uninstall DNS Server in your Server. And then reinstall Win Route. Or you can use Wingate 4.5 for NAT.
Good luck

Our company access internet with a ADSL line though a winroute soft gateway, but 2 days ago, users found that they can still explorer the websites, but they could not download anything from internet .The process is sure to broken when 100~200k bytes was downloaded.
i checked the preferences ,and didn't find anything with download limition.
is that due to the software expired ?
