WinNT 4.0 Trusting Problem

Can anyone help? When I add a trusted domain, I pop up and says "Cannot create a file when that file already exists." I have already removed that previously trusted domain, and I'm sure the password is correct, but still receive this error message from User Manager for Domains. How to solve it?

Let me guess. Did you create one of these domains in an 'unusual' way. For example did you make a ghost image of one of the domain controllers and then use that to create the second DC. Or did you just rename the domain of a BDC or something like that. This problem usually occurs from a duplicate domain SID.
You may be able to use a SID changer utility. First things first. Did you do any of the afore mentioned things?
