I have one win2k server with a mix of clients WinME, Win98se, Win2K pro, and Win95. Here is the problem I have a DSL connection that is shared over my network via a linksys router. The only machines that can use the internet are the win2k machines. I have gone through all of the settings 100 times and I can not figure it out. My win2k server is also a DHCP server and the ME machines work if they are outside of the DHCP scope. So I need some input please help. Thanks

This is not hard to setup. You set the linksys to dhcp and the clients to use dhcp. You do not want two dhcp servers on the same lan.

heemeem, I know that it is not a hard setup. I was previously using it that way but wanted to change it so that my new win2k server was acting as the dhcp server. I also found the problem under the dhcp setup you need to assign a router under the dns settings. I had done this when the server was priginaslly setup but it was not on my home network yet so the solution was to remove the router entry and then add it again.
