Windows server 2003 Browsers

Specs: Windows 2003 Entreprise edition, 3ghz/1gb
I am running Windows server 2003 on a Virtual PC 2007.

My question is the most simple.

In the network TCP/IP config, when I chose to assign an ip adress automatically, there is no problems.

But since it is a server and I need to specify an IP adress, well I chose to specify one. When I do this, the server still works without problem. Web Sites work, Antivirus Update also work, but the Browsers cannot connect to Internet anymore?

Can u help me with this. Thank you.

extra Info:

My Virtual PC is connected directly through the network adapter (better than sharing connection so it can have it's own IP adress, different than the host PC)

The host PC OS is Vista Ultimate

Total ram for VPC = 1gb
Host Ram = 3gb
