Hello I am trying to reinstall Windows 2003 on my desktop.
I have 3 Windows 2003 genuine installation CDs. I've used all of them to install Windows 2003 on other PCs previously, including this desktop.(a.k.a there is nothing wrong with the installation CDs) However, this time it keeps on giving me this message after I reformat C:\ using NTFS."Setup cannot access CD containing the Windows XP Installation files.
To retry, press ENTER. If you are not successful after several tries,
quit Setup. Then, to restart Setup, copy the Windows installation files
to your hard disk.To quit Setup, press F3."
Now, no matter how many times I press "Enter". It doesn't work. :(
I've copied ntdetect.com and ntldr from the CD to my HDDI've done attrib -s -h -r boot.ini using recovery console.
But it still doesn't work...
Can someone please explain why this happens?

It would appear you are trying to install 2003 from within xp.
That is not the way to do it.
You may have 3 2003 cds but this doesn't sound legal [previously installed on other pcs - per your words]
