This is an odd one... Awhile ago, I installed windows 2000 Pro on an old laptop. I put in a wireless card, everything went fairly smoothly, and it had the standard wireless network finding tool that XP has. Now, later, on my slightly newer laptop, I installed windows 2000 Pro. I put in a different wireless card, but it does not have the wireless network finder. I tried configuring the adaptor to automatically connect to one network, but there is no SSID field. I also tried using the included tool, but it's a piece of poo that doesn't work at all. (it's a D-link DWL-G650, and the tool stinks royally) I don't know what to do. O_o

The adaptor should come with the manufacturers Connection Software.

XD You're welcome. I wasn't being ungrateful, I tried to make that clear with the ;). Randomly calling me names because I pointed out that I already talked about your suggestion. XD oi. Anywho, it never worked for me, even on different computers. It would never connect to a network.
