OS: window xp home
CPU/Ram: Pentium 4, 1GB RAM
Model/Manufacturer: Dell 4600
Comment:
I have two window XP computers (Dell 4600 and Dell 4700)at home. They can share high speed internet through router OK. They were also be able to share printer and file before. Recently I reinstall the OS on both computers. Now I could not set up home network to share printer and file. I try to install client for Microsoft network and got message that "Window could not find driver for this service". I don't know where to find this driver.

Please help!!!

Is the "guest" account enabled on each of the PCs? The Windows XP Home Edition uses the guest account as a net use service to run the guest account in the background to do file and printer sharing. You can turn off the guest account in the users area of control panel and it will make the account unavailable to local users. But make sure you run the following command to get the guest account running as a background service.

net user guest /active:yes
