Small P2P network. 1 Win98 laptop, 1 XP (Home)laptop, 1 XP(Home) desktop. Both laptops "see" each other...internet access via Netgear cable router (w/ 4 port switch) works on all 3 machines....Neither of the laptops can access the XP desktop! "Guest" account IS enabled; "Sharing" IS enabled; XP Desktop CAN access both laptops! What am I missing?!??!?! Thanks!!

If u are unable to browse the network from xp machine or xp machine doen't show any other computer in the same workgroup. try this : 1. reinstall tcp/ip using : Click on Start Click on Run In the "Open" field type netsh int ip reset Click on OK
2. disable all the services from msconfig-- services and enable back without restarting.
3. check restricted zone or disable zone / firewall / internet security.
4. restart the computer
5. if does not work.. disable firewall / internet security / zone in other computers also.
