Okay I had a wireless networking going on four computers here at my home, all running windows xp. I get a new pc and decide to install Win2k on it rather than xp for the hell of it. The adapter (Netgear MA101 conncting to a Netgear MR814 router) worked fine on XP but when I install it (newest drivers) on the 2k machine the LAN dialog down bottem in the system tray says "Network Cable Unplugged" like it doesn't recognize it's wireless, nowhere in the harddrive profile does it say wireless. I am tempted to reinstall XP but I really wanted to give 2k a shot.
I called the Netgear tech support and christ if is the worst support team ever. They were a joke and I ended up talking to the manager and getting in a rather vulgar fight with him and hanging up. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
