"Home1 [workgroup] is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource"

I have 3 computers, 2 wired and one wireless. the problem is the wireless and one wired can see each other and the 'other' wired - but this 'other' wired gets that problem I stated above.

Need help. thanks

I can't even access the workgroup. sometimes it takes forever to access the "entire network".

It sucks. XPs should be able to deal with each other just fine.

Disable the XP firewall on all PCs. This is the #1 cause of problems like this.

max5 ...

It could be a firewall issue, but in my case it wasn't because I disabled my Win XP firewall and still got the "... you might not have permission to use this network resource" message. This is, as the message indicates, a permission issue. Check out my link above ... doing the registry fix took care of it for me.
