Need help. Using WIN XP and getting error 777 message. My modem is dialing and I hear the connection but there is no connection to my ISP's server. Error 777 message is coming up and its telling me that there is a problem with remote computer and the modem or connecting device not working.
Could it be that I'm installing the cords from my telephone into my new computer incorrectly. Or is it a driver problem. Modem is compatible, I think as I saw my computer dealer dial me into my ISP.
