Ok, heres the problem, i had Win Mellenium on my pc and on my other i had win 98 and the nework worked fine, but i had to format my hard drive and because win Me was only previously installed by manufacturers i didnt have it on cd-rom. I had to borrow my mates win 98 2nd edition disk to use as my o.s, but when i try to install drivers for my Genious Ethernet card, i need the win 98 2nd edition cd-rom because it is missing every single network .dll, .vxd, .sys, .exe file that makes the lan work ( i have tried installing the genious drivers with the cd-rom aswell, but the cd doesnt have the files). Is there some kind of up-grade patch for win 98 2nd edition which includes network support??? please help My email is: cheeze_man_ka@hotmail.com

The MicroSoft Windows Operating system has had complete networking support since the original Windows 95. You need your operating system cd's to install the networking

When I install my network card in win 98 se it says it can't find any network .dll. Same card in win 95 worked fine. More searching for answers, just like everything with Microsoft.
