Is it possible to connect a windows 95 laptop to a wireless router using a PCMCIA card?

This depends on the driver, you have for your wireless card.
If you have a driver vor Windows 95, it should work.

first you have to have a 95 driver for a wireless card. Wireless soho was just starting in 2000. Next the wireless card has to match the protocols the router uses [wep/wpa/wpa2]. This may be the biggest problem as some newer routers don't even support the original wireless encryption wep.

Thanks for the response. So it does sound like it could be possible with the right compatibility. I'm going to purchase a Netgear 802.11b Wireless PC card MA401 and see if it will work for me. Thanks again.
