Hi,

My server sits on its own with no monitor, keyboard etc.. everything is done remotely. I want win 2k3 small business server to boot up and login in automatically so that I dont have to keep hooking up a monitor to login every time the machine goes down.

How can i do this, or is there any way i can login remotely and boot the machine up?

I'm only a novice at server manipulation at the mo.

thanks,

I've never played with SBS, but this is the way it works in all other versions of NT based OS's.

Modify the registry (be careful):

Go to:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Create/set the following keys (All REG_SZ):
AutoAdminLogon to 1
DefaultUserName to the user to logon
DefaultPassword to the password of the user

Now your system should automatically logon.
